A simple yet elegant Pakistan Day ceremony was held at Pakistan High Commission here. Addressing the ceremony Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit that the Kashmir issue will be resolved as per the wishes of the Kashmiris.
Calling creation of Pakistan nothing less than a miracle High Commissioner Abdul Basit said we would shun away from any sacrifice for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan and it is our duty to defend Pakistan which is facing facing challenges from within as well at outside the country. Pakistani people have also faced every difficulty with courage, he added.

Pakistan’s foreign policy revolved around promoting peace and to make relations better with its neighbors, he said. We want good relations with India and all the issues should be resolved through talks whie Kashmir issue is the basic issue of both India and Pakistan, he added.
