Two children were injured due to unprovoked Indian forces firing from across the Line of Control (LoC) at Nikyal sector on Saturday night.
Innocent civilians were targeted yet again in unprovoked firing by Indian forces along the Line of Control on Saturday night, Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria informed.

Taking to Twitter earlier today, the FO spokesperson said two children aged 9 and 14 were injured in the firing, which was carried out at Nakyal and Balakot sectors at 9:50 pm on Saturday.

According to details 14-year-old Muhammad Shakil son of Babu and nine-year-old Hammad Ahmad son of Muhammad Ishaq were injured when Indian army opened unprovoked and indiscriminate firing at Balakot village.
Medical treatment is being provided to the two injured boys at Tehsil Headquarter Hospital.
