A new spell of snowfall and rain has continued to persist in various parts of country.
According to details, upper areas including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan are witnessing snowfall which is intensifying cold.
However, snowfall in Skardu,Roundu , Kalam, Mingora and Malam Jabba is creating difficulties for the locals whereas roads leading to Mankhial are blocked due to land sliding.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), downpour (with light snow over the hills) is expected at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas while rain with thunderstorm is also predicted in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Lahore.
