The NAB officials have summoned to ex-Prime Minister and PPP’s leader Raja Pervez Ashraf in allegation of illegal recruitment whereas Raja has apologized to appear before NAB on due date.
PEPCO’s ex- management director Basharat Cheema has held responsible for illegal recruitment during investigation on which NAB has issued notices of summon to ex-former PM.
According to sources, deputy director Ahmed Raza Tahir has sent notice to Raja Pervez Ashraf on behest of DG NAB.
According to officials, PPP leader has asked to appear before investigative officer Salahuddin in notice.
On the other side, according to NAB spokesman Raja Pervez Ashraf has excused to have appeared on basis of personal engagements.
As spokesman said that notice to be sent again if ex-PM has not appeared till due date after which legal action would be taken against him.
