    An earthquake measuring 5.2 on Richter Scale rocked Islamabad and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Peshawar, Malakand and Lower Dir on early Wednesday morning.

    People came out of their homes in panic and started reciting verses from the Holy Quran. No loss of life was reported from any part of the country due to earthquake till filing of this report.

    According to National Seismic Monitoring Centre, the epicenter of the quake which struck at 04:19am on Wednesday was located in the Hindu Kush Region, Afghanistan at the depth of 310 kilometre.
