The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has vowed an action against Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat e Islami (JI) for taking out a rally in Karachi.
The ECP, in a statement, said that its code of conduct for local body (LB) elections does not allow anyone to hold a rally.
It said that an action will be taken against PTI and JI for the violation of the code and the Loud Speaker Act.
The ECP further directed all the candidates to act upon the electoral code of conduct it issued.
