Federal police on Wednesday have issued a security plan in Islamabad on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
According to plan, as many as 3500 personnel would be deployed at 796 mosques, 21 Imambargahs and seven open places.
Additional police officers have also been called on to perform duties at shopping centers, bus stands, graveyards and parks.
No parking would be allowed near worship places.
