The balloting for selection of intending pilgrims for Hajj 2015 will be held in Islamabad at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony on Thursday.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, will be the chief guest of the balloting ceremony.
Overall 1, 43,368 pilgrims, who will be selected through balloting process, will perform Hajj this year out of which 50 percent would proceed through private Hajj operators.
The Federal Government had announced its Hajj policy for year 2015 under which more than 143,000 Pakistanis will perform annual Hajj pilgrimage on April 24.
