President Mamnoon Hussain has called upon the business community and entrepreneurs to come forward and play their active role to further augment on-going process of economic turnaround.
The President made these remarks during his meeting with a delegation of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry led by its President Mian Muhammad Adrees in Islamabad today.
The President urged the business community to help the government in its efforts to harness the vast trade and investment potential, the country offers in diverse fields.
Underscoring the important role of business community the President said that it was the backbone of the economic development of the country. He lauded the efforts and contribution of private sector and business community towards attaining goals of economic prosperity of the country.
The President said that the government was trying to resolve the energy crises and improve the law and order situation. He expressed the government's resolve and commitment to tackle all the issues of business community with the active support of all segments of the society.
