A high-level delegation of the Afghan Border Police (ABP) led by Lieutenant General Shafiq Fazli, visited General Headquarters (GHQ) today to meet Chief of General Staff (CGS) Lieutenant General Ishfaq Nadeem Ahmad.
According to ISPR press release, the matters related to border security and measures to enhance the existing border coordination mechanism were discussed in the meeting.
The visit of Afghan delegation is a sequel to the series of meetings planned on both sides of the border after the recent visits of COAS to Afghanistan and his meetings with senior Afghan civil and military leaders.
These visits are aimed at boosting military to military cooperation between the two armies, the press release added.
