Muttahida Qaumi Movement's (MQM) London-based chief Altaf Hussain said that the Iraqi militant group “Islamic State of Iraq and Syria” (ISIS) has entered Pakistan, adding that it is more dangerous than Taliban and Al-Qaeda.

MQM chief said that a large number of Taliban are seeking memberships in ISIS.

In his address in Karachi via telephone from London, Altaf Hussain said that he was the first one to alert Pakistan about Taliban’s entrance in Karachi and that he is alerting the nation again of a threat that is bigger than the Taliban and Al-Qaeda.

He said he is going to make a revelation of a threat the majority of Pakistanis, he said, don’t know about.

MQM chief said that the threat of ISIS is increasing in Pakistan every day. He said that several of Taliban members along with 6 commanders have joined ISIS whereas a large number of people continue to join them.

Altaf Hussain said that a new and grave threat in the shape of ISIS has entered Pakistan. He said several ISIS flags are visible from South Punjab to Islamabad.

MQM chief said that the army alone can’t protect the nation and that everyone has to play their role.
