Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Allama Tahir ul Qadri announced Saturday that his party would participate in all by-elections of Punjab.
Speaking to media persons at Lahore airport, Qadri said that he would soon go abroad to reorganize his party’s overseas chapter. “To say I will not return to Pakistan is not correct,” he clarified.
He said that 70-day sit-in in Islamabad has been turned into a nationwide revolution campaign. The PAT chief said that sit-in has woken up the nation and created hate for status quo parties.
“A sea of people joined our dharna in Haripur despite rain. We will now hold a public meeting at Mazar-e-Quaid on Dec 25,” he added
