    Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid on Saturday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan should serve democracy instead of using negative tactics.

    He was talking to media after meeting Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman in Islamabad. The Information Minister stated that Imran Khan instigated people through his speeches and sit-ins have caused a huge loss to the national economy and slowed down the process of development.

    Pervaiz Rashid said a strategy has been prepared to overcome the losses, caused due to sit-ins by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) during the last over two months.

    “We have learnt lesson from our mistakes and hoped that Imran Khan will also learn from his mistakes,” he added. The minister said the armed forces are carrying out operation successfully for elimination of terrorism. He hoped that Pakistan will be more secure and better country in the days to come.

    Talking to media, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman stated that youth are being led towards towards ‘ignorance.’ To a question regarding recent terrorist attack on his convoy, Fazlur Rehman stated that no one contacted him regarding the incident. Even, he is not aware that First Information Report (F.I.R) of the incident has been registered or not.
