  • IESCO warns Imran of power cut if dues not paid

    The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has served a notice to the PTI chairman, Imran Khan over the non-payment of his electricity bills.

    According to details, IESCO served a notice to Imran Khan over the non-payment of electricity bills of two meters of his Bani Gala residence. The PTI chairman was asked to pay his dues for the month of August within 7 days or else the IESCO will cut the power supply to his residence.

    On the other hand, Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) has also raised an objection over eight electricity meters installed at the Multan residence of PTI leader, Shah Mehmood Qureshi. MEPCO said it is illegal to have several electricity meters.

    Sources told that MEPCO has given 15 days of time period to the PTI leader to get a single electricity meter instead of the eight currently installed at his residence.
