  • 15 terrorists taken down as Zarb-e-Azb progresses successfully: ISPR

    As many as fifteen terrorists were taken down on Saturday in ground and aerial strikes as the military offensive dubbed Operation Zarb-e-Azb progresses successfully, citing ISPR sources.

    According to a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the clearance operation continues in North Waziristan.

    Some five kilometers ahead of Boya area in South East, a battle broke out between the security forces and terrorists, following which, three terrorists were taken down. The operation also resulted in martyrdom of Pakistan Army’s vice Subedar by enemy’s fire.

    In a another strike on terrorists’ hideout by Pakistan Army’s army aviation helicopters near Gorsatai Nala area, at least twelve terrorists were taken down while four vehicles full of ammunition were also destroyed.

    ISPR said that three hideouts of terrorists were also destroyed.
