Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that poor were allowed to submerge in flood only to save sugar mills of the rich. He said that a bridge was constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.5 billion only for Nawaz Sharif’s sugar mill. He said that if the barriers were built, there would have been no problems.

Visiting the flood-hit areas of Jhang today (Monday), Chairman PTI Imran Khan said that if the barriers were repaired and built on time, floods would not have been able to affect people in such large numbers. Imran Khan said that the real war was being fought in Islamabad and innocent workers of PTI were being arrested.
