Unidentified people opened fire on police vehicle, due to which four policemen have been killed, while police cordoned off the area and launched search operation.
According to details, unidentified attackers targeted the vehicle of SHO Shalkot and when the vehicle came near to them, they opened fire indiscriminately, due to which two policemen have been killed on the spot, while the other two policemen could not succumb to injuries in hospital. A heavy contingent of police cordoned off the area and started searching for the accused.
Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Imran Khan strongly condemned the killing of policemen, demanding to sentence elements involved in policemen killing, while Provincial government should prevent such incidents to happen.
