  • Seven injured in Khuzdar blast

    At least seven people were injured in blast near a bus carrying pilgrims in a remote area of Balochistan’s Khuzdar district.

    According to Commissioner Khuzdar, the incident took place in Garesha area where an explosion occurred near a bus carrying pilgrims to a Pakistan’s border with Iran.

    He said the bus was partially damaged in the blast which left seven people injured. They were later shifted to district hospital Khuzdar by security forces and rescue teams.

    Police and Frontier Corps personnel clamped security cordon around the area following the blast. Nature of the blast could not be ascertained immediately.

    On Sunday, a blast ripped through Qandhari bazaar in Quetta, killing a man and leaving several others injured. The blast occurred outside a shop when people were busy in shopping about an hour before Iftar.
