    At least three more polio cases emerged in Balochistan on Friday raising the toll of this year to 235.

    According to the details, the National Health Institute confirmed the polio virus in at least three children in Qila Abdullah. The sources said that paramedical staff in the Balochistan province faces political interference causing difficulties in fight against the polio epidemic.

    The total number of polio cases in the province has reached to 10. The new cases soars the toll of polio affected people to 235. Pakistan is among the countries recognized by the global health institution as the high risk countries when it comes to polio. Pakistan already faces travel obstacles because of the growing number of polio cases.
