Ranbir Kapoor has stepped up and hit back at haters for insulting Mahira Khan and judging her over the recent leaked images of the pair chilling out in New York. "Smoking and hate are injurious to health," was the perfect reply from him.
The 34-year-old Bollywood hunk was approached by the Indian media for comment on the link-up rumours with Mahira. Ranbir told that he has built a meaningful relation with the Pakistani actress over the past few months.
He admitted that he has been able to know Mahira in her personal capacity.
Ranbir said he genuinely respects Mahira for her struggle in the industry and gradual growth in her career. "She is somebody who I admire and respect, for her achievements and even more for the person she is," he stated.
"It is very unfair the way she is being judged and spoken about, I request you to stop the negativity and move on with your beautiful God-gifted lives."
Talking further about the incident, he responded that it was very sad to judge Mahira as a woman. He recommended everyone to spread peace and love. On a lighter side, he teased the haters saying hate is equally injurious to health as smoking.
