The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) issued on Thursday a stern warning to television channel ARY Digital, proscribing it from airing any advertisement or commercial prohibited by the regulatory watchdog.
The watchdog on July 15 had issued a show cause notice to the network for defying its order of not airing of an IGLOO advertisement.

The authority directed the company’s management to explain its position in writing, in addition to appearing for a personal hearing. It also warned that in case of repeated violations, strict legal action will be taken against the channel.
