Renowned actor and model Mikaal Zulfiqar and actress Humaima Malick will star together for the first time in upcoming film ‘Qaid’.
The film will be shot in London, Kashmir and Karachi while the process will begin after Eid-ul-Fitr.
The film will be produced by Seema Tahir under the banner of ‘One Films’ TV One.
The Sange Mar Mar actor will be playing the role of a London-based lawyer whereas Humaima’s part has not been revealed yet.
“I play a London-based Pakistani lawyer in this social thriller where we will be shedding light on an issue.
Humaima Malick is playing one of the female leads while we are in talks with actresses like Armeena Khan, Sarrish Khan for the other lead role.
The script is really interesting and I’m sure the audience will enjoy this film,” revealed the actor during an interview.
Mikaal is currently busy in the shooting of his three films which include ‘Ae Dil Mery Chal Ry’, ‘Na Band Na Baraati’ and ‘The Trial’ while Humaima is pretty engaged with photo shoots and the remake of Maula Jatt.
