Hearing of Ayyan Ali’s money laundering case was adjourned till June 1 today (Thursday) due to mourning and lawyer’s strike regarding Daska incident.
Banking court’s judgr Sabir Sultan conducted the hearing but Ayyan was not presented before the court. Her lawyers submitted more papers regarding her bail plea and requested the court that bar association have announced three-day mourning therefore; the hearing of the case should be adjourned.
The court while accepting the request adjourned the hearing till June 1 and maintained the order of Ayyan’s appearance on the next hearing.
