Chairman Higher Education Commission Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad says HEC is playing a pivotal role in enhancing quality and standard of education.
In an interview, he said process of verification of degrees has now been made online to facilitate students. He said measures have also been taken to prevent the issuance of forged degrees.
The Chairman said under different programmes, students are being sent abroad for study on scholarships from across the country.
