  • Schoolteacher accused of harassing female students sent on police remand

    A teacher of a private school has now been sent on a four-day police remand a day after he was arrested for filming and harassing female students.

    The school principal has, however, denied the allegations against the teacher.

    Yesterday, scores of parents converged outside the Future Foundation School located on University Road and chanted slogans against the school management for “failing to take action against the guilty teacher.”

    Parents lodged a complaint with police to arrest the teacher who filmed female students and reportedly threatened them. The parents of children alleged that the teacher would abuse students if they resisted him.

    Police arrived at the school on Thursday morning and initially arrested wrong teacher, who was not identified by the parents. The cops then arrested the teacher as spotted by the protesting parents.

    They arrested professor has been taken to the Mubina Town Police Station for interrogation.

    School principal said no teacher was involved in any such activity.
